week 4 (FYP2)

Title: Update the block diagram

Objective:
To identify the overall system of the prototype.

Content:

The picture above shows the new block diagram for the prototype, it shows the operation of the prototype. From the input on the first box on the left side, it should be the heat from a fire, then the module (thermoelectric generator) will do it job which is generated electric from the temperature difference on the module. The module has the cold side and the hot side if the voltage applied to a module, it will pump heat, but if a temperature difference is applied across the module a voltage will produce. The voltage that produces then go through the electronic part which plays their role. The voltage doubler/ amplifier dc circuit will amplify the voltage. The reason to amplify the voltage because of the voltage from the module is not enough to charge an electronic device such as the smartphone or power bank.

The voltage from the amplifier circuit then goes through the 5V voltage regulator to regulate the voltage. The 5V voltage regulator will regulate the voltage from the amplifier which also to stabilize the voltage before it goes to the output. It will also power up the voltmeter and Light Emitting Diode (L.E.D) which will act as an indicator. Once the voltage goes through all the circuit, then it will go through the output port where the USB port micro B (male) is used. That is the operation of the prototype.

Conclusion:

This can conclude that the updated block diagram is done and ready to be used on the poster later on an industrial day for presentation.
